Client account page tutorial

This page lets customers sign in with an email code or password, view their membership, copy a referral link, check Wave Points, use Priority ASAP access, filter bookings, open booking details, go to settings and sign out.

A customer dashboard for bookings, membership, points and account actions

Customers who are not signed in see the login card first.
Customers can sign in by email code or by password.
Signed-in customers see their account dashboard with welcome message, membership, settings and sign out.
Referral link appears when available and can be copied.
Wave Points appear when available, with points and AUD redemption value.
Priority or paid members see the ASAP banner for urgent charter help.
Booking filters let customers switch between All, Upcoming, Completed, Past and Cancelled bookings.
Booking cards open the full booking detail page.

A spinner appears first while the account page is checking the customer.
If signed in, the account dashboard appears.
If not signed in, the login card appears.

Choose how to sign in

Email code tab lets the customer sign in with a one-time 6-digit email code.
Password tab lets the customer sign in with email and password.
The selected tab turns white so the customer knows which sign-in method is active.
Switching tabs clears the previous error message for the other method.

The BookMyWave logo appears above the email sign-in title.
Email field asks for the customer’s email address.
Press Enter in the email field to send the code.
Send code button sends the 6-digit code to the email address.
Sending... appears while the code is being sent.
Invalid email message appears when the email format is not valid.
If sending fails, a message asks the customer to try again.
Network error message appears when the customer’s connection fails.

The icon changes to an envelope once the code screen appears.
The page tells the customer which email received the code.
The code field accepts numbers only. Other characters are removed automatically.
The code field allows up to 6 digits.
The sign-in button stays disabled until 6 digits are entered.
Press Enter in the code field to sign in.
Verifying... appears while the code is being checked.
Invalid code message appears when the code is not 6 digits, wrong, or expired.

Extra controls on the 6-digit code screen

Resend code sends a new email code after the waiting period ends.
Resend timer counts down from 60 seconds after a code is sent.
While the timer is running, the resend button is disabled.
Change email returns to the email entry screen and clears the typed code.
The dot separator visually separates Resend code and Change email.

For customers who have already set a password

Password tab switches the login card to password sign-in.
Email field asks for the customer’s email address.
Password field asks for the customer’s password.
Press Enter in either field to sign in.
Sign in button checks the email and password.
Signing in... appears while the login is being checked.
If email is invalid, an email error appears.
If password login fails, a sign-in failed message appears.
No password yet? includes a link back to email code login.

Upgrade to Priority appears for Standard customers only.
Paid member badge appears for other membership tiers using the membership name.
Priority membership badge uses a blue style.

Appears when the customer has a referral code

Your referral link appears when the customer has a referral link available.
The link preview shows the referral address with the customer’s referral code.
Friends who book earn you 300 Wave Points each explains the referral reward.
Copy link copies the full referral link so the customer can share it.

Wave icon identifies the points card visually.
Points number shows the customer’s current Wave Points balance.
Redemption value shows the AUD value calculated from the points balance.

Switch the booking list using filter tabs

All shows all bookings.
Upcoming shows upcoming bookings.
Completed shows completed bookings.
Past shows previous bookings.
Cancelled shows cancelled bookings.
The active filter turns blue.
Changing the filter reloads the booking list.

Each card opens a full booking detail page

Click a booking card to open the booking detail page.
Boat image appears on the left. If no image is available, a placeholder image is used.
Boat name appears as the main title of the booking card.
Status pill shows Confirmed, Awaiting approval, Pending, Expired, Declined, Cancelled or Completed.
Expired is shown when a pending booking is older than 23 hours.
Boat type appears under the boat name.
Date shows the first booked date in a short format.
Guests shows how many people are included in the booking.
Total shows the booking grand total.
Booking reference appears under the total.
Arrow shows the card can be opened.

After sign out, the booking list is cleared and the login card appears again.
