This page helps customers find a Sydney boat charter by event type, vessel name, booking timing, location, boat type, BYO preference, guest count, budget and date. Customers can browse boats, switch views, open vessel pages, share boats, use smart matching, request ASAP help, view ticketed events and join the newsletter.

Use the hero search card to tell BookMyWave what type of charter you are planning.
Choose an event type to hide boats that do not allow that event.
Use filters for vessel name, booking timing, location, vessel type and BYO-friendly boats.
Add trip details such as guests, budget, preferred date, flexible date and extra event notes.
Use smart matching to get ranked boat suggestions based on the information entered.
Browse results in card view or list view.
Open a vessel page by clicking View vessel, View & Book, or a boat result card.
Share a boat with friends using the share button.

Boats that do not allow the selected event type are hidden.
Available event types: Birthday, 18th / 21st birthday, Corporate, Wedding, Engagement, Hens, Bucks, Whale watching, Fishing, Game fishing, Casual, Romantic and School reunion.

Vessel name search lets customers type a boat name. Results move into view when a search is entered.
You need to book your boat after filters boats by how soon they can be booked: Any time, Today / Tomorrow, Within 3 days, Within a week, or Within 2 weeks.
Location filter shows all locations by default, or only boats operating in the selected location for the current month.
Vessel type filter shows all vessel types by default, or only one selected vessel type.
BYO Friendly filters to boats that allow BYO.
BYO Friendly turns active when selected.

Guest counter lets the customer decrease or increase the number of guests using − and +.
Guests can also be typed directly into the number field.
Budget field uses a dollar prefix so customers can enter their approximate budget.
Preferred date lets customers choose a future date.
Flexible date toggle tells BookMyWave whether nearby dates are acceptable.
Describe your event is optional and can include vibe, food, pickup, timing or special requests.

Rating badge shows star rating and booking count.
Boat name identifies the vessel.
Capacity line shows how many guests the boat can carry.
Location line shows the current seasonal location, or Sydney when no special location is set.
Selling point tags appear first when available; otherwise feature tags are shown.
Price line shows the starting hourly rate.
Minimum hours shows the minimum booking duration.
View vessel opens the boat detail page.
Share button lets the customer share or copy the boat link.

Matched results show an “AI matched” style badge and a summary of what the customer searched for.
New search clears the matching results and resets the search form.
Best matches show the highest-ranked boats first.
The top five matches use larger match cards.
Each top match can show rank, boat type, rating, bookings, boat name, capacity, price, minimum hours, match score, explanation, match tags, selling points or features.
View & Book opens the boat detail page.
More options appears when there are additional matches beyond the top five.
More options use regular boat cards with match tags and View / Book.

If device sharing is not available, the boat link is copied to the clipboard.
If copying is not available, the page shows the link so the customer can copy it manually.
Use this for: sending boat options to friends, family, event planners or group members before booking.
