Staff dashboard tutorial
This page helps crew members manage their work. Staff can see new job invitations, accept or decline work, check upcoming confirmed jobs, open booking details, view vessel location when available, and control their job preferences.

Use the top navigation to move between Dashboard, Calendar and Messages.
Check the stats cards to quickly see jobs waiting for reply, confirmed work and total assigned jobs.
Reply to pending jobs from the Awaiting your response section.
Review confirmed work in the Confirmed jobs section.
Open booking details when you need full job instructions.
View location when the operator provides vessel, berth or pickup location details.
Set job preferences to control auto-accept, busy-time handling and Talent Pool visibility.

Automatically accept new work when you have no conflict.

Staff dashboard · Opening the page
Loading dashboard... appears while your jobs and profile are being prepared.
Stay signed in to see your dashboard. If your session has expired, you will be taken back to the staff login page.
The page refreshes quietly while you are using it, so new job invitations can appear without you manually refreshing.
User tip: Keep the dashboard open during work hours so you do not miss new assignments.
Staff dashboard · Job summary
Pending response tells you how many jobs still need your answer.
Confirmed jobs tells you how many accepted jobs are coming up soon.
Total assigned includes all jobs shown to you, including jobs you have declined.
Amber highlight means action is needed.

Staff dashboard · Pending jobs
Boat name shows which vessel the job is for. Click the boat name to view the public boat listing.
Date and time show when the job starts and finishes.
Operator name tells you who assigned the job.
Pickup and dropoff show where the charter boards and finishes.
Pay shows the expected job rate when provided.
Capacity helps you understand the scale of the charter.
Accept confirms you can take the job.
Decline opens a reason box before you submit your decline.

Staff dashboard · Declining a job
Click Decline to open the reason box under the job.
Reason is optional , but it helps the operator understand why you are unavailable.
Confirm decline sends your answer and removes the job from the pending list.
Cancel closes the box without declining the job.
Use this when: you are already booked, unavailable, too far away, or the job does not suit you.

Confirmed status means you are expected to attend this job.
View booking opens full job instructions, including event details, meeting point and operator contact.
View calendar opens your calendar view for all upcoming work.
No confirmed jobs yet appears when you have no accepted jobs coming up.

View location appears only when the job has useful vessel, berth or pickup information.
Click View location to expand the map under the job.
Click Hide map to close the location preview.
Use this before the charter to confirm where to go and where the vessel may be located.

Auto-accept new assignments lets the system accept new work automatically when there is no clash.
Auto-decline when occupied helps prevent double-booking if you already have an accepted job at the same time.
Appear in Talent Pool lets other BookMyWave operators find and invite you for jobs.
Use the toggles to turn each preference on or off.
Click Save preferences after changing any setting.
You stay in control: even if you appear in the Talent Pool, you can still accept or decline jobs.

Stats stack vertically on small screens so they are easier to read.
Job cards stack so Accept, Decline, View booking and View location remain easy to tap.
The calendar button may move below the greeting when space is tight.
