Staff messages tutorial
This page helps staff read and reply to messages from operators or the platform. Staff can see all message threads, identify unread conversations, open a thread, read the message history and send replies directly from the page.

Staff messages · Inbox and replies
Use the left inbox to browse all message threads.
Check unread badges to see which conversations need attention.
Select a message to open the full conversation on the right.
Read message bubbles to follow the conversation history.
Use the reply box to send a message back in the same thread.
Messages stay organised by thread , so replies remain attached to the same conversation.

Staff messages · Opening the page
Loading… appears while your inbox is being prepared.
Stay signed in to view and reply to staff messages.
If your session expires , sign in again before viewing messages.
Staff messages · Unread messages
The orange badge beside Messages shows the total number of unread messages.
The blue new badge on a thread shows how many unread messages are in that conversation.
Unread threads use a slightly highlighted background so they stand out.
Opening a thread marks that thread as read on your screen.
Tip: Start with threads that show “new” so urgent operator updates are not missed.
Staff messages · Empty inbox
No messages yet. appears when there are no conversations in your inbox.
No action is required if your inbox is empty.
New conversations will appear in the thread list when someone sends you a message.
Staff messages · Selecting a conversation
Before selecting a thread , the right side shows “Select a message to read it”.
Click any thread in the inbox list to open it.
The selected thread turns blue with a left border.
The reply box clears when you switch to another thread, so messages are not accidentally sent to the wrong conversation.

Staff messages · Conversation view
Conversation title shows the message subject, or “Message” when no subject is set.
From line shows who started or sent the latest conversation.
Grey message bubbles are messages from the other person.
Blue message bubbles are your own replies.
Sender name appears above messages from the other person.
Time labels show how recently each message was sent.
Loading… appears briefly while a selected conversation opens.

Staff messages · Reply box
The reply box appears only after you select a conversation.
Write a reply… is where you type your message.
The Send button stays disabled until you type something.
Use Shift + Enter to make a new line inside your reply.
Use Enter to send quickly when your message is ready.
Tip: Double-check you have selected the correct thread before sending a reply.

Staff messages · Sending a reply
Click Send to reply in the selected conversation.
Sending… appears while your reply is being sent.
Your reply appears immediately as a blue bubble on the right side of the conversation.
The reply box clears after a successful send.
If sending fails , an alert tells you to try again.
If there is a network error: check your connection and send the message again.

Staff messages · New message updates
The inbox refreshes while the page is open , so new threads and unread counts can appear without manually reloading.
New messages appear in the thread list with updated time and preview text.
Unread badges update when new unread messages arrive.
Open a thread to read the latest messages and clear its unread count on screen.

The layout stacks into one column on small screens.
The inbox appears at the top so you can choose a thread first.
The conversation appears below after selecting a thread.
The inbox height is limited so the conversation remains accessible on the same screen.
The reply bar stays at the bottom of the conversation area.
