This page lets staff manage their public profile, contact details, payroll information, ABN, bank details, bio, team capacity, licences, rates and services, job preferences, password and profile preview.

Update your public profile with a photo, full name, phone number and bio.
Add payroll and bank details so operators have the information needed for payment records.
Add ABN if you operate as a contractor or business, and check whether the ABN is valid.
Set team capacity so operators know whether you are a solo worker or can handle multiple jobs at once.
Select licences and certifications to help operators match you to suitable jobs.
Add rates and services so operators understand what you offer and your minimum asking rate.
Control job preferences such as auto-accept, auto-decline when fully booked and Talent Pool visibility.
Preview your public profile from the side panel to see what operators will see.

Upload a clear image operators can recognise

Photo preview shows your current profile image.
If no photo is uploaded, the page shows your first initial in a circle.
Click Upload photo to choose a new image from your device.
Uploading... appears while the image is being saved.
Accepted formats are JPG, PNG and WebP.
Maximum file size is 10MB.
The image is cropped to square so it works well as an avatar.

Name, phone and public introduction

Full name is required. If it is left blank, the page shows a Required message.
Phone is optional, but useful for operators who need to contact you about a job.
Bio is your public introduction. Use it to describe your experience, skills and what makes you a good hire.
Changes are not final until you click Save settings.
Tip: A strong bio helps operators understand your role, experience, reliability and preferred job types.

ABN is optional and only required if you operate as a contractor or business.
Enter 11 digits if you want to add an ABN.
Checking ABN... appears when the page is validating the ABN.
Valid ABN result shows the business name, status and GST registration if available.
Invalid ABN result shows an error such as ABN not found.
If the lookup fails, the page shows a lookup failed message.

Bio appears on your public profile when operators review you.
Write about your role, such as deckhand, skipper, cleaner, host or service crew.
Mention useful experience, such as Sydney Harbour, guest service, safety, cleaning or hospitality.
Keep it professional because operators use it to decide whether to invite you.

Team capacity
Set how many jobs you or your team can take at the same time

Set to 1 if you work solo.
Increase the number if you run a team or company that can handle multiple jobs at once.
Use − and + to decrease or increase concurrent jobs.
Minimum is 1 and maximum is 99.
Operators see you as available until your capacity limit is reached.
Example: a cleaning business with 3 crews can set capacity to 3 so three different jobs can be handled at the same time.

Licence groups organise qualifications by category.
Tick every current licence you hold.
Selected licences are highlighted in blue.
Untick a licence if it no longer applies.
Other licence not listed? lets you type a custom qualification.
Add button saves the custom licence as a tag.
× on a tag removes a custom licence.

Rates & Services tells operators what you offer.
+ Add service opens the service form.
Service name is required. If it is missing, an error appears.
Description explains what is included, timing or conditions.
Minimum asking price helps operators send a fair offer straight away.
Unit can be Flat fee, Per hour or Per foot.
Add service saves a new service.
Edit changes an existing service.
removes a service after confirmation.
No services added yet appears when the list is empty.
Payment note: payment for these services is handled directly between staff and operator.

Control automatic job behaviour and profile visibility

Auto-accept new assignments automatically accepts work assigned to you when you still have capacity available.
Auto-decline when fully booked automatically declines new assignments when all your capacity slots are already taken.
Appear in Talent Pool allows other operators on BookMyWave to find and hire you.
You can still decline any job offer even if Talent Pool is enabled.
Blue toggle means the setting is on.
Grey toggle means the setting is off.
Best practice: keep capacity accurate before turning on auto-accept or auto-decline.

If all your capacity slots are taken, new assignments will be automatically declined.

Preview my profile opens your public staff profile in a new tab.
Tips card reminds you how to improve your profile.
Tips include adding a professional headshot, writing a useful bio, enabling Talent Pool, setting accurate capacity and adding rates.
Set password section appears on the settings page so you can manage your account password.

Click Save settings after changing profile details, capacity, licences or preferences.
Saving... appears while the page is saving your changes.

Data Saved Successfully alert confirms the save.
Validation errors appear under fields that need correction, such as missing name or invalid account number.
Global error box appears near the top if the page cannot save your settings.

The side panel moves below the main settings form.
BSB and account number fields stack so they are easier to enter.
Capacity buttons wrap if the screen is narrow.
Service forms stack so fields remain readable.
Save settings remains at the bottom of the main settings form.
