Slot mode — when opened with a slot_id, the page helps send job/work offers for that specific calendar slot.
Best use: Use this page when your own roster is not enough, or when you want to build a partner pool before assigning people to bookings.

Crew — default tab. Loads staff from the operator talent pool endpoint.
Service Providers — loads provider businesses from the service-provider pool endpoint.
Lazy provider load — providers are loaded when the provider tab is opened.
Active tab style — active tab is white with dark text and a subtle shadow.
Workflow: Use Crew for people you assign as staff; use Service Providers for businesses you add as partners for bookings.

Finding crew for a calendar slot
Slot banner appears when the URL includes slot_id

slot_id parameter — if present, the crew endpoint checks availability for that slot.
Slot banner — shows boat name, date, and time for the slot being filled.
Back to calendar — returns to operator calendar after reviewing talent.
Selection checkboxes — appear on crew cards only in slot mode.
Broadcast box — appears in slot mode to send job offers or work requests.
Timing meaning: Slot mode separates available crew from people with pending conflicts at the same time.

Send slot work to selected or available talent

Crew mode — title says “Send job offer to crew”.
Service role mode — if the selected role is a service role, title changes to “Send work request”.
Offered pay / budget — optional number field for offered pay or quote budget.
Pay type — Per job, Per hour, or Per day.
Send target — sends to selected crew if any are selected; otherwise broadcasts to all available free staff.
First to accept — confirmation explains first to accept gets the job.
Result — success result appears in green and the crew list reloads.
Before sending: Confirm the slot, role, and pay amount. A broadcast contacts multiple people.

Crew role filter — dropdown includes All roles plus grouped charter and service roles.
Crew search — searches crew by name.
Provider category filter — provider tab uses categories returned by the provider pool API.
Provider search — searches service providers by name.
Auto reload — changing role/category/search causes the relevant list to reload.
Tip: Filter by exact role before broadcasting, because the broadcast copy changes for service roles.

Name and role — role pill shows whether the person is crew or a service role.
Capacity — for team accounts, shows concurrent job capacity or remaining capacity for a slot.
Bio — short profile summary, visually clipped to keep cards compact.
Stats — Jobs done and Operators count.
Introduced by — shows which operator introduced this staff member.
View full profile — opens staff profile in a new tab.
Add button — outside slot mode, saves crew to your crew pool or service roles to partners.

Select all available — selects all free staff without pending conflicts.
Deselect all — clears all selected free staff.
Selected count — shows how many staff are selected.

People with pending jobs at the same time are separated

Free staff — staff without pending conflicts appear first.
Pending staff — staff with has_pending_conflict appear under a warning section.
Warning card — card border becomes amber and background becomes pale gold.
Pending conflict tag — tag warns that the person has a pending job at this time.
Still selectable — pending conflict cards may still be selected because they may still accept.
Operational caution: Pending conflict does not mean fully unavailable, but it is riskier than free staff.
