BookMyWave collects your name, email address, phone number, and booking details (date, vessel, guest count, pickup and dropoff locations) solely to process your charter bookings. Operators provide vessel information, availability, and banking details for payouts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process and confirm bookings, send booking confirmations and reminders, notify operators of new reservations, coordinate service partners (photographers, caterers, etc.) assigned to your booking, and improve our platform.

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. BookMyWave does not store credit card or banking details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data. Operator payouts are handled via Stripe Connect.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your booking details are shared only with the boat operator and any service partners (e.g. photographers, caterers) you select as part of your booking. These parties receive only the information necessary to fulfil your booking.

5. Communications

We may send you booking confirmations, event reminders, and post-event review requests by email. These are transactional emails related to your booking. You can contact us to opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your booking records for a minimum of 7 years for financial and legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us, subject to our legal retention obligations.

7. Cookies

BookMyWave uses session cookies to maintain your login state and booking progress. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on our platform.

8. Your Rights
